Statement

November 17, 2019 the official elections to the Chamber of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus took place.

In accordance with the information of the observers not more than 20% of voters came to the polling places November 17, 2019. Nevertheless the Central Electoral Commission has proclaimed the official number as more than 50% of electoral participation.

Many electoral frauds and the falsification of the statistics have been officially documented by the observers. Hundreds of electoral frauds have been committed by the authorities. Some of the local electoral commissions have exceeded the number of voters ten times.

The regime’s authorities, the police and the chairpersons of the electoral commissions begun to drive away the official observers from the polling places, to strip them of accreditation and to disturb their activity after the observers started to document the electoral frauds. The head of the authorities Mr. A. Lukashenka publicly threatened with physical harm the observers (this is a new aspect of the barbarian treatment of elections by the acting regime).

During five days before the elections the so-called “preliminary voting” took place. The “preliminary voting” is illegal and contradicts the Constitution of Belarus. The observers have documented that the authorities and the administration have forced the voters to participate in the “preliminary voting” under threat of penalty. The observers have documented many times the false statistics of the “preliminary voting”. The electoral commissions exaggerated the number of the voters which have participated in the “preliminary voting”. The regime’s authorities falsified the statistics of voting participation and reported the official number as 25-30% of voters which have participated in the “preliminary voting”. But this number is false and exaggerated.

Thus during the imitation of the elections to the Chamber of Representatives of National Assembly of Belarus on November 17, 2019 the regime has falsified the voter turnout, threatened with physical harm the observers and proclaimed the false results of the voter turnout.

In fact, the elections to the Chamber of Representatives of National Assembly of Belarus on November 17, 2019 didn’t take place. The people has ignored the phony elections and expressed its distrust to the Mr. A. Lukashenka’s regime.

The results of these elections could not be recognized by the Belarusian and international societies.
