Conservative Christian Party – Belarusan Popular Front will carry on a traditional memorial action dedicated to the victims of the communist terror. In June 1941 the NKVD has shot hundreds of political prisoners near the city of Cherven (Minsk region) including with the Polish and Lithuanian citizens. Every year we carry on the international memorial action on this tragic place close by the monumental crosses on the tombs of victims, with the participation of the citizens of Belarus, Poland and Lithuania.
The memorial action (The Way of Cherven) will take place on June 24, 2007. The action will begin at 12 a.m. The participants will gather close to the building of former prison (Cherven, Garbachova Str., 36).
