After the illegitimate presidential elections launched in March this year the anti-Belarusan policy of the Lukashenka regime has taken more apparently forms of the occupation. Its main traits are the persecution of the Belarusan young people, the judicial repressions, the liquidation of the Belarusan cultural centers and organizations. The regime is executing the Moscow project of the annihilation of the national civil society in Belarus.
The pro-Russian regime is intensifying the destructive processes because of the approaching crisis of political power in Russia as well of the Russian aggressive policy directed to the subordination and incorporation of Belarus into Russia. Nowadays Russia considers the introduction of the Russian ruble as the main instrument of this policy as well as the adoption of the so-called “constitutional act” on the next referendum which would change the actual Constitution of Belarus and secure the formal and juridical possibilities of the incorporation.
It is dangerous because Moscow and the anti-Belarusan forces in Belarus will use the next local elections in order to launch the referendum on the “constitutional act” and the incorporation.
The experience in Belarus and the whole world confirmed several times that the just elections are impossible under the occupation regime and the dictatorship because the main criterion of such elections is the bad will of the political authorities not controlled by the people. The Law doesn’t represent the criterion in this situation.
But the people has an effective possibility in order to express its attitude to the regime even in this situation of the complete lawlessness, cynicism, repressions, violence and lie – not to participate in these elections. Let the regime to play its own game and to declare 83% of its “victory”. The frauds of the regime are based on the electors which participate in the poll. Because of that the regime is obliged to use the people as veil of its deception. Let the deception to be obvious. The resistance against the regime will take form of the non-participation in its “elections”. This form will precipitate the collapse of the dictatorship and the national consolidation of the Belarusan society.
The experience has demonstrated that the persons which called to participate in the elections in accordance with the regime’s rules under the pretext of the agitation – as a matter of fact these persons have assisted the regime in order to achieve its objects.
2001, 2004, 2006 have demonstrated that it is necessary not to participate in the elections under the anti-Belarusan illegitimate regime. There are not any elections. The elections cannot be under the dictatorship. The regime is using the participation of the people in the poll in its own interests.
It is necessary to prepare the social resistance. The day of the poll we have to go not to the poll-stations but to the streets and squares in order to unite, protest and act together. Then the real Belarusan fighters and real Belarusan organizers will appear and act.
