The Soim of the Belarusan Popular Front “Adradzennie” and the Conservative Christian Party – BPF appeal all the parliamentary political parties of Poland to revise their policy with regard to the diplomatic conflict with the pro-Russian Lukashenka regime.
Moscow has an object – to isolate Poland from Belarus in order to prevent the Polish democratic influences during the presidential elections in Belarus in 2006 and to prevent the repetition of the “Ukrainian scenario” from 2004. Because of that the pro-Moscow Lukashenka regime has provoked the conflict around the Union of the Poles in Belarus.
We are surprised by the emotional reaction and the naivety of the politicians involved in this quite simple Russian combination.
We observe the defeat of the Polish policy on the Eastern direction. Poland is losing the possibility to influence the situation in Belarus and we – the Belarusan fighters against the dictatorial regime – are losing the possibility of the Polish support. Moscow is taking the situation in Belarus under control.
There are some mechanisms to improve the situation and to restore it on the initial position. The initiative and the well-founded actions depend on Poland.
Every Polish politician has to understand that the defeat of democratic Belarus in 2006 will be at the same time the defeat of Poland.
We hope for the positive conclusions and the improvement of the bilateral relations.
